Wholesale Corn
Freshness You Can Count On
At Daniels Produce, we raise only bi-colored sweet corn to achieve the best possible product. Our sweet corn sales are from July 10th to first week of October. Each ear of our sweetcorn is handpicked and then hydro-cooled to preserve the natural sugars. Our corn is sprayed for earworm control when needed to provide the best pest free product.
HARVESTING AND GRADING
Topping is performed three to four days prior to harvest to allow for quick and easy handpicking. Then to ensure the highest quality product, our crews move into the field and pick every ear by hand.
Hand Packed
We hand pack our sweet corn, 48 count waxed boxes, or 48 count RPC for members of the RPC program, and cardboard bins. Our 48 count waxed cardboard boxes can be palleted to your specifications RPCs Program 48 count RPCs are a packaging option for those customers who are in the program and handle the responsibility for all RPC rental costs, tracking and exchanges. Our cardboard bins are crafted, marked with safety arrows and fit on a 40X48″ pallet. Each contains approximately 50 dozen or 600 ears per bin. They are shipped double stacked, 44 bins per refer truck. Wholesale Squash
Growing and Harvesting
Our zucchini and yellow squash are hand harvested and graded right in the field, so these tender beauties are only handled once. We harvest and grade to surpass USDA standards on our wholesale squash. Summer squash are available seasonally from approximately June 20th-October 15th. Fall squash is available July 25-November 5th. All of our squash are hand harvested and graded. We go above USDA requirements on size and quality. We harvest and pack to order. Harvesting
All of our peppers are hand harvested and graded. We go above USDA requirements on size and quality. We ship the best and toss the rest. Bell Peppers and Jalapeños are available seasonally from approximately July 20th-October 15th.
Hydro-cooling/Washing
Within 30 minutes of harvest, our peppers are graded by size and dunked into our pepper hydrocooling tank for simulations, disinfecting and cooling. Our peppers are clean, crisp, cold and safe when they are shipped.

Each squash is carefully washed using clean, potable water in a one-time use system to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety. Once washed, the squash is immediately packed according to each customer’s specifications and prepared for prompt shipment.
This process guarantees that our squash arrives fresh, clean, and ready to use — with all the flavor, texture, and quality you expect from farm-direct produce.
